The Zest Quest

The Zest Quest debuts in pursuit of a zestful life!

Launch week is here and I’m so excited! The Zest Quest is a dream that has taken years to develop in my mind and heart. Although the site will focus on Food, Garden, Travel and Books, I have a special spot called Life Through the Lens, where you can view the world as I do through the lens of a camera. Come on in and explore. Click around to find out more about me, my goals for the site and how it all began. There’s virtual herbal tea and scones hiding amongst the stacks in the library.

You as the guest are a huge part of this site’s future success, so I hope that you join me on a Zest Quest of your own, or by being here as a part of my journey. Please feel free to comment and let me know your favorites so I can include more in the future. Your comment must be approved the first time you come to the site, so thank you for your patience.

Come back this week to learn about my special vinaigrette for a strawberry salad that was inspired by the first week contents of my CSA experiment and a dear friend whose enthusiasm for food is contagious. Then we’ll have the second week of the CSA experiment to talk about, and an exploration through a recent trip “into the wild” that I made in Port Clinton, Ohio. I have lots of pictures to share each week, so the photos will be a big part of this site’s story. The photo above is a teaser from my trip through five states in May – more to come in the future!

For those who loved my previous site, the TBR Mountain Range, the archives have been moved here to The Zest Quest in the Books category and more book reviews will follow. I’m also planning to add more Food and Garden book reviews to the site, so those who love those topics might find something to add to their collection. It might take me a while to finesse the archived posts so they’re as colorful as the most recent ones, so thanks for excusing my dust.

Special thanks to Max who made my dream come true. Words cannot express how grateful I am without sounding over-the-top crazy, so I’ll just say thank you for your vision, speed and ingenuity! If you, our guest, have a web idea, take it to the Max and she’ll fix you right up!

Want to help spread the word? There are social media links all over the site. Test them out and like me, follow me, or friend me. And thank you in advance for your continued support!
